Hammered dulcimer lessions are available for individual students of all ages and experience levels. Lessons are taught in Bob's home in northern Chesterfield County, Virginia (surburban Richmond). Instruction is individualized in accordance with each student's musical interests, goals, and background.  Evening lesson times are available.

Students should acquire their own instrument before their first lesson.  Hammered dulcimers vary considerably in size, range, tonal quality, string spacing, ornateness, and cost, and each design has advantages and disadvantages.  Bob can provide general consultation to facilitate selection of an instrument compatible with the student's musical interests.
